Evolution of a large coastal nourishment at Knokke: First year progress report

Beach erosion occurs along a large part of the Belgian coast, especially in the Knokke area. One of the most applied and successful measure to prevent and to cope with erosion is the artificial nourishment of the active beach and shoreface system.
